We the undersigned require NNDC to take some EFFECTIVE action about the willful and irresponsible neglect of property by the owner of both an unoccupied and increasingly derelict shop at 57 Oak Street, which has been in this state for over 20 years, and also the nearby 400 year old out buildings in Star Yard which in the last year began to collapse due to disrepair. We have been told that NNDC has limited resources to deal with such matters but it is totally unacceptable that these town centre properties are allowed to continue to be left in this state.
